What is dynamic control for LED?

Orchid grower Jan has purchased a Hybrid-LED system with 5% blue and 95% red LEDs, with an efficiency of 3.2 micromol/Watt. He provides standard 16 hours of light per day to his crop. In the measurement data, we see that the photosynthesis efficiency decreases after 13 hours. This means that 20% of the energy usage is less efficient. Although Jan has chosen a spectrum with high efficiency of 3,2 micromol/Watt, it is less efficient when considering the light utilization efficiency of the crop.
