Ledgnd at Hortibiz Next Level Data: From data to action
During the theme week “Next Level Data, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics” by Hortibiz News Radio, Ledgnd joined the table to talk about one key question: how do you turn all greenhouse data back into clear, practical decision-making information?
In the interview, Ramon van de Vrie and Ilona Verveer explain how MyLedgnd brings different data sources together and turns them into “data to action”. Not just another dashboard, but one central place where you see how your crop responds to your climate settings and where the biggest gains can be made.
Using practical examples, Ramon and Ilona explain how plant feedback and our Close Feedback Loop work. With sensor technology, we read the plant and see when energy is not being efficiently converted into growth. That makes invisible plant stress and waste suddenly very tangible: from lighting hours that can be reduced to days when your greenhouse runs efficiently, or is actually full of “wasted energy”.
The role of our plant physiologists also features prominently. They support growers from the very first intake: defining clear goals, selecting a suitable (brand-independent) sensor setup, analysing the data and translating it into concrete actions in the greenhouse. Whether a grower calls every week or schedules a data session once a quarter: the combination of data, plant feedback and crop guidance reduces stress in the crop, optimises energy use and brings more peace of mind to cultivation decisions. You can hear the full story in the video.

A healthy plant is not always a stress-free plant. In the greenhouse, conditions may often appear ideal: light, temperature, and humidity are within the desired ranges, and the crop looks strong. Yet…
